Bombas is dedicated to support the homeless community, and to bring awareness to an under-publicized problem in the United Stats when you purchase their Socks.
Bombas was founded in 2013 in New York City, New York by Randy Goldberg and David Heath. The company was built and is driven by the fact that “Socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at Homeless Shelters.” In addition to giving partners, Bombas works with shelters, community organizations, and large partners like the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and the Special Olympics.
Did you know?
For each pair of socks purchased, a pair is donated to the homeless.
Donated socks have an anti-microbial treatment to ensure they don’t need to be washed as often, and also have reinforced seams and darker colors for greater durability and less visibility to wear–engineered to meet the needs of the people who don’t have the luxury of wearing a clean pair of socks every day.
Socks support the cause.

Our mantra is bee better.
Bombas is derived from the Latin work for bumblebee. Bees live in a hive and work together to make their world a better place. They’re small, but their combined actions have a big impact on the world. We like that. We knit it on the inside of every pair of Bobas as a reminder that you helped someone in need with your purchase. And a reminder that little improvements can add up to make a big difference.
